Lamoni’s Father’s Feast is a great feast appointed by Lamoni’s father, “who was king over all the land,” in the land of Nephi. Lamoni’s servants were commanded to prepare the king’s horses and chariots and conduct him to the land of Nephi for the feast (Alma 18:9).
Lamoni’s father said that he had made the feast “unto my sons, and unto my people” (Alma 20:9). Lamoni told his father why he had tarried in his own kingdom and had not gone to the feast his father prepared (Alma 20:9-12).
