Riplakish’s Prisons are the many prisons built by Riplakish for people who would not submit to or could not pay taxes. He caused prisoners to “labor continually for their support,” and he caused those who refused labor “to be put to death” (Ether 10:6).
Riplakish caused “all his fine work, yea, even his fine gold” to be refined in prison. He also caused “all manner of fine workmanship” to be wrought in prison (Ether 10:7).
